It seems I find a tech news. Microsoft has sued Samsung Electronics with the claim that Samsung refused to pay early on patent licenses after Microsoft made a deal with Nokia. The event began on Microsoft blog post on August 1, 2014, where David Howard stated regarding the values and partnership between Microsoft and Samsung.
Samsung and Microsoft made their negotiations to be a partnership between them. Samsung entered to made a contract by volunteer on Year 2011 on licensed IP. Since their partnership, two companies created their profits. “When Samsung entered into the agreement in 2011, it shipped 82 million Android smartphones. Just three years later, it shipped 314 million Android smartphones”.
However, when Microsoft made the deal with Nokia in September 2013, Samsung stopped the agreement with Microsoft with the argument “Nokia deal breached Microsoft’s licensing agreement with Samsung”.
